Market Dates & Availability

The She Makes Market season begins with a special Holiday Pop-Up event and continues through spring and summer with a series of vibrant Saturday markets celebrating local makers and creative small businesses.

Each market will feature a rotating mix of vendors to ensure variety and spotlight new makers throughout the season. Vendors are encouraged to select all dates they are available or the entire season, accepted vendors will receive a confirmation email and payment details for their approved dates. Spaces are limited and curated to maintain a balanced selection of handmade products each week.

  • Booth Size: Each vendor space is 10′ x10′ an located outdoors. Spaces are assigned prior to the market based on product type and layout needs
  • Setup Requirements: Vendors are responsible for providing their own tent, table(s), table coverings, and display setup. Tents must be secured with weights for safety. Tables should be covered with a tablecloth or display fabric to maintain a polished and cohesive look throughout the market.
  • Electricity: Electricity is not provided. Vendors should plan accordingly if their setup requires lighting or other powered displays.
  • Fees & Refund Policy: the booth fee is $65 per market date. All payments are non-refundable. However, if a market is canceled due to rain or inclement weather, accepted vendors will have the option to transfer their booth fee to a future market date within the same season (pending space availability).
  • Event Location: He Brews Coffee & Tea House – 1540 Jefferson Blvd, West Sacramento, CA
  • Setup & Breakdown Times:
    • Setup: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM
    • Market Hours: 10:00 AM 3:00 PM
    • Breakdown: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM (no early breakdowns, please)
  • Space Sharing: Each vendor must apply individually. Booth sharing may be allowed only with prior approval from the market organizer.
  • Weather & Conditions: This is an outdoor market. Please be prepared for varying weather conditions (sun, wind, light rain). Vendors are responsible for securing their own tents and protecting their products.

Vendor Guidelines & Policies

Market Standards

  • Handmade Focus: All products must be handmade, handcrafted, or designed by the vendor. Small-batch or locally produced goods are also welcome. No mass-produced, resale, or drop-shipped items will be accepted.
  • Quality & Presentation: Vendors are encouraged to maintain a clean, professional, and creative booth display that reflects the quality of their products. Table coverings are required, and displays should be stable and visually appealing.
  • Positive Representation: Vendors represent their own brand as well as the She Makes Market community. We ask all participants to maintain a friendly, respectful, and collaborative atmosphere.

Setup & Breakdown

  • Setup Time: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM; Vendors must be fully set up and ready by 9:45 AM.
  • Market Hours: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Breakdown: Begins at 3:00 PM (no early teardown). Early departures disrupt the flow of the market and are discouraged.
  • Check-In: Vendors should check in with the Market Organizer upon arrival for booth assignment and setup confirmation

At She Makes Market, every maker plays a part in building excitement and community. To help make each market a success, all vendors are asked to actively promote the event on their social media and within their circles.

You’ll receive a “Proud Maker at She Makes Market” flyer customized for each market to make sharing easy. We also encourage you to make sharing easy. We also encourage you to crate your own posts or stories that highlight your products, booth setup, or what makes your business special.

Weather Policy

  • Rain or Shine Event: The market will proceed in light rain or overcast conditions. In the event of severe weather that requires cancellation, vendor payments are non-refundable, but you may transfer your booth fee to a future market date (subject to availability),
  • Vendors are responsible for weatherproofing their tents, displays, and merchandise.

Sales & Payments

  • Vendors handle their own transactions.
  • Please bring change, a mobile payment option (like Square, PayPal, or Venmo), and shopping bags for customers.
  • Sales tax compliance is the vendor’s responsibility.

Clean-Up

  • Vendors must leave their space clean and free of trash at the end of the event.
  • All trash and packaging must be disposed of properly in provided bins.

Code of Conduct

  • Be kind, inclusive, and community-minded. We grow stronger together.
  • Respect fellow vendors, customers, and event staff.
  • Music and audio at your booth must be kept at a respectful volume.
  • Aggressive sales tactics or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may affect future participation.

Photography & Promotion

By participating in She Makes Market vendors grant permission for event organizers to use photos or videos featuring their booth or products for marketing and promotional purposes.
